A proposal for 1469-1473 South Park St. and 1474 Brenton St. has been submitted by Geoff Keddy Architect and Associates and it going through the initial step of the application process. This project will be built right beside the Trillium on South Park St. and will extend all the way back to Brenton St. There will be 62 units and and 33 underground parking spaces that will be accessed from Brenton St.

There will also be one large commercial space that is almost 5000 square feet and will be facing South Park St. One large house on South Park and one on Brenton will come down to make way for this project.

Proposal: Portland St. at Portland Hills Dr. 6 storey residential with mixed-use plaza.

W.M Fares group has submitted a proposal to build a 6 storey residential building and a mixed-use plaza for commercial or office space at the corner of Portland Street and Portland Hills Drive. The current MPS policy and Land Use By-law regulations do not allow a development of this type so the proposal also includes an application to amend this. The residential building will have 92 units and exterior parking. This proposal is currently being reviewed by staff and the next step will be a public information meeting which has not yet been scheduled.
